Looking back on the Xinhai Revolution 100 years later, what actually happened then? Was the fall of the Qing Dynasty historically inevitable or accidental? Why would I view the fall of the Qing Dynasty as a major catastrophe for China? What lessons can the social movers today learn from the Xinhai Revolution? In this lecture these questions will be explored and discussed.
