Hong Kong police briefly detained artist Sanmu Chen, for appearing to reference the date of the Tiananmen massacre. On June 4th 1989, protesters based in Tiananmen Square, central Beijing, were calling for political and economic reform. Chinese troops opened fire on the protesters, leaving hundreds if not thousands dead. Mention of the massacre is banned in mainland China, and it is an increasingly sensitive topic in Hong Kong.
